Datebook/Smartphone Training

We assist clients in building effective memory and organizational strategies by helping them select and use personalized tools. This training includes:

  • Assessing the client’s specific memory and organizational challenges
  • Discussing the pros and cons of using a traditional datebook versus a smartphone
  • Reviewing and researching appropriate tools based on the client’s needs
  • Acquiring the selected tool and helping the client transfer key data
  • Providing step-by-step instructions on the use of the tool
  • Practicing routines to ensure consistent use and familiarity

This process often involves collaboration with multiple team members, including neuropsychology and occupational therapy, to reinforce strategies, promote consistency, and ensure successful implementation.
